It competitively interferes with the assembly of the SNARE complex, gently reduces acetylcholine release and eases the contraction of expression muscles, which helps soothe dynamic lines caused by facial expressions. This raw material has an HPLC purity ≥98%. The recommended addition level in finished cosmetic formulations is 0.005%–0.05%.
