Overview

What is Ceramide?Ceramide is a key intercellular lipid component in the human stratum corneum, accounting for 40‑50% of total stratum corneum lipids, and is commonly known in the industry as “molecular rivet”. Its molecule consists of a sphingosine backbone linked to fatty acids via amide bonds, and it takes part in the formation of skin barrier structure. Factors such as age, external environment and cleansing habits may alter endogenous ceramide levels, which in turn affects skin lipid conditions. This product series includes Ceramide NP, AP, EOP, NS and complex ceramide. Manufactured by bio‑fermentation or chemical synthesis processes, the material appears as white powder.
